Executive Director
Farshad Maltes joins CDR with more than 30 years of experience in community development financing. Most recently, he served as President/CEO of Community Capital New York, and prior to that worked for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority. Throughout his career, he has overseen multiple small business, commercial real estate, and affordable housing lending programs benefit low-income communities, managing portfolios as large as $575 million. Farshad earned a Bachelor's Degree with high honors from Haverford College, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Loan Officer
Jeff Breunig , CDR’s Loan Officer, is responsible for loan underwriting, closing and monitoring business loans and portfolio management. Jeff has more than 30 years banking experience in Lincoln, NE.
Jeff spent 22 years with Cornhusker Bank, 18 of which were spent as Manager of the 27th Street branch. Jeff was responsible for the day-to-day operations including all lending functions, customer development, branch operations and staffing. Jeff was very active with regard to small business lending to local businesses, as well as involvement in the total re-development of the North 27th Street business corridor which included new commercial construction, landscaping and street improvements. In 2005, Jeff was recognized by the SBA for his commitment to small business lending. Jeff has worked at Pinnacle Bank & Hastings Bank where his sole responsibility was focused around commercial lending.
A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, Jeff has also successfully completed studies at the National Installment Lending School in Norman, Oklahoma, The Colorado Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado and numerous American Institute of Banking (AIB) classes. Contact Jeff
Dorris Miller
Dorris is responsible for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Chief Operating Officer
Jane Hardesty is responsible for program and Executive Director support by providing: database development and maintenance; organization document creation; program reporting; compliance relating to the U.S. Treasury CDFI Program; compliance relating to the Small Business Administration lending programs; assistance in small business and 504 loan application processing, booking, closing, and servicing; board engagement; customer service; website maintenance; technology; and all other aspects of support needed.
