Executive Director
Farshad Maltes joins CDR with more than 30 years of experience in community development financing. Most recently, he served as President/CEO of Community Capital New York, and prior to that worked for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority. Throughout his career, he has overseen multiple small business, commercial real estate, and affordable housing lending programs benefit low-income communities, managing portfolios as large as $575 million. Farshad earned a Bachelor's Degree with high honors from Haverford College, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Business Development & Technical Assistance Officer
Mitch Elam , CDR’s Business Development & Technical Assistance Officer, is responsible for loan underwriting, closing and monitoring business loans and portfolio management.
Mitch has banking experience in Consumer Real Estate lending, Mortgage lending, and credit analysis
Mitch is a Nebraska Wesleyan graduate holding a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and Management. Contact Mitch
Financial and Operations Officer
Dorris Miller is experienced in the financial services industry, and has been with CDR for 13
years. Dorris is responsible for assisting with data management, bookkeeping and grant reporting. She has prior banking experience, and served VP of Consumer Loan Operations for TierOne Bank.
Chief Operating Officer
Jane Hardesty is responsible for program and Executive Director support by providing: database development and maintenance; organization document creation; program reporting; compliance relating to the U.S. Treasury CDFI Program; compliance relating to the Small Business Administration lending programs; assistance in small business and 504 loan application processing, booking, closing, and servicing; board engagement; customer service; website maintenance; technology; and all other aspects of support needed.
