The past several weeks has been a very unsettling time for all small business owners. All of us at Community Development Resources (CDR) are aware of the concerns that accompany this uncertainty. Please know that we are working with the United States Small Business Administration to administer programs which will help relieve some of the upcoming financial burden to our borrowers.
Effective immediately, the SBA will implement the following to SBA borrowers:
- · 6-month principal and interest only payments by the SBA
- · The loan must be current or catch-up payment plan in place
- · All payments of principal and interest will resume after 6 months
If you have not been contacted, please contact CDR by telephone or email to start this process. Staff will work primarily by phone and email Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The State of Nebraska has applied for Federal Disaster status which will allow small business owners to apply for disaster loans directly from the Small Business Administration. Nebraska has been approved and small business owners may go to our page SBA Disaster Loans for more information or www.sba.gov and click the COVID-19 link to register. Please be aware the disaster loans through the SBA are not part of Community Development Resources’ loan program and CDR does not participate in approval or denial of these funds.
